The thing with serama's is that most of them do like to pose. That is what they were bred to do was stand on a table and pose, so for most it just comes natural. It also helps that they are handled almost daily starting at about 6-8 weeks old but that is what needs to happen in order to prepare them to show later on.

One more box due in tomorrow and they are my last to go in the big incubator.. weather will turn fast and before I know it I will have a house full of chicks ALL winter. As if I don't have too many inside now.

A bunch are moving out today and then more on the weekend. I need to make a pen for my peachicks. I have 10 (I think) I am going to grow them over the winter...then sell them in the spring. Of course we will keep a few.

I was unable to go to the chicken meet in the western part of NC due to the hurricain. If anyone knows of something else going on near eastern NC / or within driving distance of 150 miles, please let me know. I'm interested in obtaining a few show quility Wyndotte chicks.

Well thanks to Irene our trip was cancelled. Won't be able to go again until next year since all our vacation time is used. Cross your fingers for me, we'll get a vacation in less then 10 yrs.

And I'm sick again anyways.... pardon me as I crawl back into bed.
