G&A... if it IS a black star then it is a rooster. Roosters have dot on their head hens are all black. If that is your egg from BO roo over BR hen then yup...you have sex links

I have found a page here on BYC with all the combos you can use to make sex linked chick etc. I will find it a post it here.

the blackstar is a neighbors chick, he wanted to see if his roo was earning his keep, so i incubated them for him.... 1 down and 2 to go

Thank you both,....well my husband hasn't divorced me yet

I extended the run three times and doubled the coop since then.
