Allison get home to find 2 eggs in the turner, one hatched and another zipped (both uninjured). In the lockdown we currently out of the 7 eggs placed in to lockdown 4 hatched and another zipped 75%. Our 2 which we hatched for our neighbor last week left tonight, the lone bay cried a lot, so we moved the 2 dry chicks across to be with him. They are now all settled down nicely with the stuffed toy dog. There will be pictures to follow sometime on Friday.....
Added to that we had a broken egg in the turner, DW - Allison - had the wonderful task of removing the tray strip and cleaning it out.
But I do promise pictures to follow tomorrow morning.....
And a big thanks to Betsy - Renegaderidgefarms for the eggs tonight! Let's hopewe have a good hatch rate on these, then no more until spring!
