I had the smelly problem too. I made room in one of my sheds and took a shipping crate and cut it in half and made a top for it and put a light in it. Then they got too big for just the box so i moved it outside, cut a 18"x12" hole near one corner and made a little run out of cut down tree branches and wire for them.
 
Well, counting everything that the foxes left me I have 64 chickens and six turkeys. I'll have a hundred more chickens out there before the summer is over, though. At least.

Hmmmm....I started naming what I have and what I have coming. Maybe I'd better not do that!

Hi everyone! The husband and I are currently driving through Missouri on our way to Wyoming and all our babies are doing wonderfully. Pepper is even still laying eggs for us.

Ok folks, quick question. How long does a molt typically last? Our sex-link has been slowly molting for over a month now and of course no eggs while she is doing it. She is starting to show interest in the nest again, but is still losing feathers.
