Tomorrow is Valentines day......who has plans???

I must admit I kinda miss working at a florist........
valentines was a super busy day and it seemed
to fly by but most everyone was in a good mood
and who wouldn't be when getting flowers.

Beth- what is a super blue egg layer??

I have some VERY happy chicks who were able to get out on grass and scratch around for the first time (since tearing up all the grass in their enclosure!! LOL). Some decided to go with the big chickens, the rest went right back home (they actually NEVER strayed far from the pen...it was rather cute!!)

All this rain is NOT my fault (I have NOT done diapers...hehe) but the ducks are LOVING it!! Cadbury spent a good portion of yesterday just hanging out in his mini pool while a few of the girls TRIED so hard to bathe in the little stagnant water that is in the pond!!

I think they were desperate because Cadbury was NOT going to give up his pool!!

Valentine's Day plans: made buttermilk biscuits last night (so I used a heart shaped cookie cutter...hehe) for the family, no bake cookies for the hubby (DD1 "colored" a Star Wars Yoda picture for him) and have a friend babysitting on Friday so he and I can go on a late lunch date (or early supper) - our FIRST time celebrating V Day together since being married...LOL yeah! Going van shopping and to one of my FAVORITE restaurants: Olive Garden (bring on the salad and peppers!!) Oh, and I am to act surprised when I get some chocolate covered strawberries sent to me (DH isn't good with surprises...LOL) - I will add that he mainly ordered them for him, as I don't do milk or white chocolate...so out of them, I think only 3 are dark chocolate...LOL (Good...I don't want to get too fat with this pregnancy either).

NH... Super Blues are a cross that produce LARGE blue eggs...if they are hens. If I let you hatch them, they will be roosters thus dinner.
