On the credit card fraud.....they do sell little sleeves made for your cards that keep them safe. They still allow them to fit in your wallet as usual. Also we only keep a certain amount in the account tied to our debit card (dont use credit cards) so that we arent wiped out if we are hacked by one of these thieves. I make a lot of online purchases so i figure someone will try eventually....they wont get much of my money if they try. If you know you need more for a certain purchase, just transfer it in when you do the payment. Keeping it in a separate account will really be worthwhile if someone gets you acct number!!

Im sure it is a sickening feeling! Thank goodness your banks are working with you. We also keep a decent amount of cash in a safe deposit box for emergency use in a case like this.

Im so sorry you guys are having to go through this. I also hope they can track down the thieves who did it to you !! No one but you should enjoy your hard earned money.

had to get some hay this am, darn it was cold with the wind. Looks like if the clouds and light rain show up, we will get some snow. Now how much and will it survive to the morning or later, who knows. Letting the girls out in case it does snow and sticks....

Still no snow in Shelby. Talked to my parents in Hamlet in Richmond County, and they said it was covering the ground already. Looks like the eastern part of the state is going to get it. I think it's already passed us by--oh well.

It's snowing here right now and was snowing earlier. Stuck inside! Wanted to paint the coop today.

Sorry to hear about the dog attack. We just got chickens and one of our dogs wants to eat them. Will he get used to them eventually? We make sure they're in their run before we let him out. He is only 7 lbs but don't want him attacking. The two big dogs leave the chickens alone.
