Is that $68 for a 50lb bag!?!?!? I was gonna say I was interested in splitting an order but I just can't pay that much for a 50lb bag.... Where are you located? I'm in Northern Forsyth County between Winston Salem and Greensboro.

Right now I am getting an "all-natural" layer from Statesville for about $12/bag!

You just answered my question. I was looking at Southern States web page trying to find out the prices of their feed. I get ours at Family Farm (from Ray) just around the corner on Person St. next to the big church.

:weee :celebrate :woot My father, who hasn't really ever been apart of my life, has been trying to take intrest in my farm and trying to build on our relationship, just informed me that he order me a rare breed assortment of 30 chicks from meyer!! I was astounded, he and I have always been on shakey ground since I was a kid, but lately he has been trying and this is such an awesome gesture, I enjoy that he has taken an intrest and actually put thought into my b-day present this year. It makes me feel good, I have been praying so hard that he would step, because I was so tired of being the only to try to keep in contact. Ok....I regress.....anyway...... I just looked at what the rare breed assortment consists of and its amazing!! Exquerhor(sp?) Leghorns, polish, cochins, marans, penedensca(sp?), fayoumis, lakenvelders, campines, hamburgs, barnvelders, buckeyes, sultans, sumatra, and several others!! Think I'm gonna add another 10-15 to the order so I can get as much variety as possible
