I really am SO sick of rain!! I feel like I have moved to Washington or something where it rains like 355 days a year!!

RF - I was TEMPTED to take DD1 out to play in the mud (I mean a girl HAS to learn about mud puddles at some time, right?!?) but we all have the sniffles and the girls have a hacking cough, so I think it's best to wait for the next opportunity. LOL Although, I am sure Meg's boys would have a better go at the mud then my girl. She'd probably cry if she got her shoes muddy!!

I hope those of you that are expecting sleet or nasty weather take it easy today!! I have nothing special planned for today aside from getting my baby quilts done (hopefully)...I get much LESS accomplished these days with DD#2 getting more mobile and consequently into EVERYTHING!! She already thinks she is grown and is trying to walk all over the place - or at least crawl over to a place and pull herself up...or everything else down!

Meg - have fun playing!! Someday, I'd LOVE to learn to use a loom...but then again, I have all do to crochet, so perhaps there's no real reason for me to learn. LOL You are one talented lady, and I tip my imaginary hat to you!!

Good morning everyone! I hope you all stay dry today. It's freezing rain here and consequently I got a phone call at 6AM from the school saying there's a 3 hour delay! Of course, an hour after the phone call, the rain tapers off to a mere drizzle.

No big plans for the day, just house cleaning. Can't even do laundry, thanks to the rain, no line drying (dryer is broken). I was going to go get two more ducks today, but I think that'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Lost my sweet little cookies-n-cream last night to an another attack by the stray cat.

I hate to kill an animal, any animal, but this cat has obviously been around a long time! And he is to smart to be trapped, so many only choice is the gun.
I was doing okay, until he came back minutes ago and attacked my kitten.

The kitten is doing alright, even though he is mostly feral, he is inside in a crate eating some warm ktten food and relaxing. I think I awoke the beast. thinking he may never want to go back out now

Is there a source, preferably within a couple hours of Fayetteville, to buy feed in bulk at a discount? Surely there's a mill somewhere?
