I got a questoin what in te world is a easter egging chicken?? Some old lady told me they was game birds that laid blue and green eggs, but I told that was nonsense, cause chickens only brown and white eggs... she showed me some of hers flock and said that the birds she showed me was easter egging birds, I asked her to show me eggs and a course they hadn't laid nothing in a yet this year. I thought I'd come up here and ask ya'll so maybe I can set her straight.

An Easter Egger is also call Americana (by the hatcheries) It is a cross of an Ameracauna or Araucana (both blue egg layers) and a brown or white egg layer. They will lay any shade of blue to green eggs.
EEs usually have puffy cheeks and beards.

Greetings! I just got home from visiting my Mother in Hendersonville. Took the long way home through bat cave, chimney rock, and lake lure down 9 back to 74....slow going. I saw in another post you are out that way somewhere near lake lure.
