Water inside the coop is a bad idea. Need plenty of ventilation also to let the moisture out. Wood chips on the floor soak up a lot of the moisture. Raking it over every few days help.

There is probably too much ventilation since it is completely closed on 3 sides but only partially on the fourth side! Moisture could be the issue with them all huddled on their perches and pooping all night. I do add new shavings weekly or fortnightly (depending on weather) and try to feed them seeds or grains on their coop floor once or twice a week so they'll stir it up for me. Probably would be more efficient if I did it every day though.
I've had the temperature drop below 32F many times with no frostbite. It seems to be the nights it gets in the 20's or teens. Just didn't know if there was a cutoff temp that I should watch out for and apply Vaseline on those particular nights.

Do you gus recoment tose auctions to go and see? id love to see all the wonderful birds! is there pure breed show birds there too?

Aw man, as much as I would love to go to the Cedar Creek one, that would be a one hour drive! Versus a 15 minute drive to Town and Country!
Is it a good deal better, though? I've never been very impressed with what I've seen at T&C's flock swaps.. But I'm probably not going when @Coop Scoop Boogie is there!
If I get desperate enough, I may just have to drive an hour and check Cedar Creek out!
