Might be the weather keeping some boys from doing their jobs. At the moment my 2 SLP roosters aint doing their jobs either.

Never seen blue sex links, what parents did you use to create them?

Sold my 2 Olive Eggers pullets this morning, hated to let them go, then DH orders the Top Hat special on Ideal since the kids have been asking for a polish. Now we have 25 coming next week!!???!!!
So I guess I need to downsize all over again!!!

I spent this morning getting the meat pen all set up for the ducks. They seem to like it a lot more over there since there's much more room than the brooder. They don't really have feathers, but they are 4 weeks old & huge. Since there are 15 they should be okay without a heat lamp, right? I can't really hang one in their coop over there since the coop itself is small, but they have a huge run.

They are anywhere from light to a very dark blue. Most of the hens have some golden bleed through on their face/necks. They are reliable layers of a large brown egg.

Well my boys are crowing this morning may be a good sign---CSB did u all get to take trip yesterday? ?

Yes we did and managed to bring home his new-used
little red tractor. He is one happy man now. He didn't
unload it until today and I get home too late to really get
any good pics but I will give it a try tomorrow.
