Copperhead Look what was in the coop while I was gathering the bodies

I hate to hear that farmraised. I killed a copperhead around 10 feet away from my coop last week. Were you able to find out where it gained entry at?

But I try to look at the bright side I have eggs in the incubator from most that died and the only two that lived were the only two that have been shown and have blue ribbons that's the berchin hen and the red brown roo so when the babies hatch ill just take them back to they're parent I still have and it will be better than what I lost

the animal control doesn't do it anymore its the sheriffs office does and they said there's nothing they can do unless they are still on site and my deductible is more than what my loss was

They need some lead. I am so sorry. How did they get in?!

Are you looking for a specific age? I have 3 6-week-old RIR, two of which I think may be roosters, but I don't know how to sex them, so I'm not sure. If they are, I'll be looking to find a home for them.

Today looks to be another warm one.....I sure hope
it isn't going to be one of those miserably hot summers.
We never did find what causes the issues I can have
with the heat and I really don't like staying inside to avoid
the heat.........I need a bigger pool

Where did you get your scale and what weight do you consider large? That is such a great idea!

Google "egg scale" and you'll find them! The weights for the different sizes are regulated, and the weight ranges are on the scale, which makes it easy.

they dug in and tore wire and broke boards but I spent all day yesterday rebuilding everything with about 100 pallets so if they get in again I give up. But now I just need new birds
