No offense Dutch, but he really needs to go into a stew pot. If you notice in this picture you can clearly see a hunched back, that's not good for any chicken whether a pure breed or a mixed breed. I also haven't noticed cocci slowing down growth that much.This is my favorite rooster. He follows me around the yard whenever I'm out there.
They got coccidiosis as chicks so they've been slower to grow. I know he's going to start crowing on me soon though and have to go.
He has such a pretty sheen on him, can't really see it from the photo. My husband wants to process next week before we go out of town, but I'm hanging onto him as long as I can.
