I managed to get a little rain also, probably enough to help the grass a little (most of which looks dead), but not the trees/ bushes. It probably will really help the weeds out though.

I live in the center we have not gotten more than tenth of an inch of rain in over a month. My grass looks dead, and I am having to feed hay to Donks.

Glad I didn't plant a garden this year.

Never heard of an NJ white chicken?? Does NJ stand for New Jersey? If so maybe you mean Jersey Giant?

Aren't Jersey giants black tho? He said white? Ohh confusion.

They now come in black, white, blue, and splash. Now the black are the best in size and type if one was going for show stock.

Well, I guess I'm going with plan b. I'll butcher 4 Roos sometime this week, I posted them on craigslist but no replies. After these guys I'll have possibly 5 more to go.

Make sure that you check your spam folder if you are using email for responses. Emails through craigslist very often end up there.
