I do not want to move! But my run is slop too. And now it smells. Yuck. I have drained it but it doesn't get enough sun so alas it is terrible. They do have a large outdoor screened area that is dry but the run is yucky. We have had 2 and 1/2 inches of rain in three days. I am ready for a bit of sunshine now. It has been blessedly cool but now the warmmer day makes it smell. I will need some more limestone I think. It will help maybe.Good lord, I wish I lived in whatever part of the state ya'll live.. my coops are slop, my birds and dogs are wet and gross, my driveway has a river running through it... i work at a vets office and we use the cattle noimectin and give it twice with 10 days in-between but we have never used this before i may take it to work and see if i can use it externally if i can't internally but how would you do that rud on the neck or legs or what? thanks for the helpPs: on the ivermectin , it is 5mg per cc. So the bird only gets about 2mg. Thats liquid drops on the skin not internally.

Quote: I've read were this doesn't actually de-worm the birds, it just kills lice/ mites on the birds. Could you ask at your work?

how much do you put a drop of pure or diluted? what are you measurements if you have any?The 1% cattle ivomec used via absorption DOES worm chickens. I have used it for years and have had floats tests done to be sure. Float test before ivomec was positive for worms. I placed the ivomec on the skin on the back at the base of the neck. Float test 4 days later was clear.
