Have you ever wormed them?

I also wonder if she had an egg break inside..since you say the poop looked like egg yoke...looks green the pic.

P.S. Here is a poop chart : http://chat.allotment-garden.org/index.php?topic=17568.0
Poop looks ok. Could be green from the electrolytes..meds...oil.

First, thanks for the poop chart. I saved it with my chicken stuff for future use!...

About the ailment, the first thing I thought about was the egg breaking inside...and she got started quickly enough with the antibiotics so quickly...maybe its going to survive??? !!! They surely don't usually don't do well with that.

I'm about an hour from RM. They will be given a good life until they are kindly put in my freezer. :)

LOL yes no cock fighting here. They are given a nice life running around the yard and annoying the neighbors until they are needed and kindly put in the freezer to feed my family or the LGDs. :)

Alex, let me know when you do another class. I'm no longer in the process of moving, LOL!! I have 5 that will need to be put away for the winter...and I have a friend that has four...

Anyone ever had a hen that made a noise like a squeaky toy when she ate? I'm not sure what's up with this one I have, but she does it every time she eats. No signs of any other issues, just the occasional squeak

all 3 of my girls hum. every once in a while. at first i thought it was a warning signal as they are very still and their eyes seem to be fixed on something. but there is not any evidence of danger around, so...i don't know why they do it!

i have a pullet that sounds like she's choking when she eats. I think it's because she eats too fast and the pellets get stuck in her throat

Good morning folks

We got a little rain yesterday afternoon...........and quickly became
a steam bath for awhile. It was an odd rain pattern........you could
see where it had barely rained and only dampened the ground and
take one step more and the ground was soaked and had puddles
and water running in the gutters along the street. I'm glad we got a
little rain.

hope everyone has a good day

Ours was weird also. I was sitting by the back window. I noticed it was raining so hard that I couldn't even see the back of the deck.

(10x10) But the weird part was that it was not coming from the west/northwest as seen on the doppler.... It was coming from the east/southeast....like it was wrapping around the house. I'm originally from OK and this really brought back memories of the winds of a tornado..

.... Sure was not a comfortable feeling! LOL

hey guys! I have a few birds I need to sell and rehome by sunday....when school starts again.

I have some chicks (roosters) 8 weeks old, BTW Japanese bantam X splash silkie crosses that are just lovely! ive hatched these "jappies" twice now and I just love them! ironically the first egg I hatched was the only one of that cross I set and it was a roo. hes so handsome! I loved him so much I set 5 more under a hen 6 months later and ended up with 4 roos 1 hen. SO I have 4 beautiful roos, all related. 3 white and 1 black. PM if interested

I also have a cross hen with lovely marking and a beautiful Japanese bantam Americana cross roo for sale. PM if interested as well.
