Good morning folks       :frow

Yesterday was injection day.....#2.  Sure hope this stuff keeps working
for me...the first one has given some relief. It amazes and frustrates
me how a little injury can sideline a person.   :he

The birds are dealing with the heat so far and have not slowed the
egg production yet but I am sure they will soon enough and I am just
about ready for them to do so.

Sorry Bantambury but I don't know anyone who breeds those little
ones.......but they sure are cute.

hope everyone has a good day   :thumbsup

Hope things make a turn for the better ♡♡ Will be sending good vibes your way :)

Wazine will work for round worms..but I usually mix ivermectrin in with food or just dose them individually. .you can mix DE or SevinDust in their dusting areas or dust them directly for mites/lice, etc

A lot of people swear for DE, others are against..I don't use it for anything internal (some people actually eat it) bc it's worthless when wet..but that's a personal decision

How did that chick get all the way up there? 5ft high and its two weeks old...

I wish there was an easy way to treat for worms and all the other
issues the birds can get but it comes down to you have to do the
work and just treat each issue on it's own. DE is good for dust bath
areas and if you wanted you could add some into their grit pans.
We use Valbazen for worms, it's an oral treatment but we know
each bird is treated when we do it. We use spot on Ivermectrin for
external bugs and again treat each bird individually. The thing about
treating through the water is you don't know how much, if any, each
bird is getting.

X2, individually is the way to go..but I understand if you have 200+ birds this gets tricky
