My hands were so bad I
had 6 split fingertips which in desperation I scrubbed with hibiclens, dried then crazy glued shut. Finally they healed.

I understand the problem with hands.
I have severe neuropathy in both hands and it only takes less than 5 min in below freezing for them to become too painful to think. I sometimes have to make 4-5 trips back inside to run under warm water to get feeling back to do morning chores of letting chickens out, feeding looking for eggs and watering

I'm sorry. That's awful.
The warmest most comfy gloves I have are thin microfiber. They aren't bulky but are very warm.
I put a pair of neoprene gloves on underneath if I'm going to be working outside or doing something where they might get wet.
