Floods gone, puddles sorta dried up, but if I step where their used to be a puddle I sink down 6 inches and a puddle forms where I stepped. 9 straight days of wearing my heavy rubber boots, But the chickens are having a blast with all the worms near the surface. At least they are happy now.

We are in selma and the farm is just the same some areas that were hard dry you can't even walk now without sinking in. Lucky for me it hasnt reached my flock areas though sorry to here yous got so wet. Hopefully we can get a lil drought. Got more rain coming tomorrow yay!

No ducks here yet! My wife is alergic the chicken eggs so we will have to get some soon as harris teeter is overpriced and no staedy local suppy. Hope your hatch goes well, I have 9 cemani eggs on day11 today targeting the 7th, hoping for a few good chicks.

Sorry to hear that she’s allergic! If you’re in the area, I’m happy to share duck eggs when mine begin laying!

Selma, NC here, Johnston County i raise Bielefelders, Cream Legbars, Welsummers and heritage breed pigs Berkshires, beef cows too... have some of my beautiful chickens available now

I have some chicks coming in April. If you have any welsunmers then I may be interested in a chick (or 12...chicken math ). I’m outside Charlotte.
