Does anyone here live in GREENVILLE, NC???
I live in stanly county but my aunt just moved to Pitt, Greenville and wants some chickens. Does anyone know the law for keeping chickens here? I have been looking everywhere and can't find it.

Anyone near Maiden that might be interested in purchasing 29 chickens and/or 2 pens? We have 25 pullets & hens and 4 roosters. The females are mostly standards, but we do have 4 or 5 bantams, and the roos are all bantams. We are probably going to be having to move about the end of this month and can't take them with us. We also will be getting rid of a few coturnix quail & pens, 1 hoop-house coop, and 1 coop/pen. I'm hoping we can take the dog and the cage of button quail.

Does anyone down there in Nc have breed quality SLW eggs to hatch? I will be coming down to Wake Co. to see family and would like to get or swap eggs. Or do any of you know anyone that has some for sale at the fair? (Eggs or Birds) Thanks!

The only thing I know is that there is a great poultry auction every first and third Saturday of the month...(I think this Saturday is the third...may want to check though)..anyways its in Richfield (Stanly County)..so it depends on how far you are willing to drive. This is about an hour from Charlotte so it may not be worth it to you. Its a really nice auction and I get a lot of my birds from there. They also sale poultry food, poultry supplies and raffle tickets.
