Well I should of known it would happen, our neighbors are complaining about our lovely rooster crowinging

So we now need to find him a home

What a beautiful rooster, are you sure they wont change their minds? Mine are closed up at night and I don't let them out till 8:00 am but when their closed up we can hardly hear them and their house is right next to ours. I love roosters but I already have 2 so don't think it would work out for us. Hope you can find him a good home.....................Also

Good Morning everyone

So sorry about having to rehome your roo---neighbors suck. I do hope you find a good home for that handsome man

Did anyone see that beautiful full moon last night???? Went out to do a last check around 6:30 and there was that huge globe rising over the top of the mountain across the street....made a beautiful silver pathway across the stream in the front yard.

Found a vet who treats poultry...since my current vet, who will shortly be my "previous" vet wouldn't prescribe the med I needed for one of my cockerels. So I'll be heading to Black Mtn. this afternoon. It just infuriates me that my current vet won't provide the med....I have the diagnosis, I have the treatment regime....but nooooo, no can do. Not like I'm asking him to anything illegal or unethical. We've spent THOUSANDS at this vet's office, and this is the kind of help you get??? Not the first time we've had problems with his staff---but it's the last.

Finished your shopping Miss Lydia? We have no family around here, so I just send gift cards....guess I better get them in the mail today...lol.

another view, Hi BC we usually give gift cards also but since our grandkids were coming my dh thought it would be nice to have a gift for them to open, well after walking in circles at Walmart we came home with 1 pair of PJ's and 2 pairs of sweatpants and shirts, big buy huh!What do you buy for kids nowadays? When we lived in Asheville we used the vet in BLK Mtn, because they would see farm animals and we had 2 goats.

Miss Lydia - Now a days kids want games for their wii or ipods or itunes $$. Not like when I was growing up, I loved my Breyer horses.

Very "technology" these days..

On another note, two of my Serama boys are headed to Oklahoma!!
