also, I need to update my sig.. we have 3 new chicks=) waiting on 3 more to hatch though, its day 22 since I loaded up my broody, I will give them till' day 25 before I give up hope... unless my broody gives up earlier

Heres my dog, his full name is "Sir Weiner dog of Weinerville" but we just call him weenie

heres our youngest he just turned 1 Danny. Love Sir Weiner such a cutie! yes fetch, chase, you name it they are up for it.

We ended up with 8". The trees are full. I hope it falls before the winds move in. Click on the pictures for the full sized version.

My single pair of silkies are not happy. The cold don't seem to bother them at all. Yes that is a table I put in for extra shelter. Their little house doesn't create large enough of space for them to move around enough.

If anyone is in the Charlotte area, Carolina Waterfowl Rescue had an aviary collapse in the snow. Several birds were injured including Marmalade the Rooster and they need help digging out and repairing. If you have some time to spare and want to help, please contact Jennifer Gordon at 704-668-9486

We have 9 inches of snow on the ground and are going to get more this evening. I went out this morning to tend to the chickens and my rooster went after me!

Getting a spur in your leg in the morning is not fun

Thankfully I had enough clothing on it didn't hurt to bad. If he does not watch it he is going to end up in the pot!


BTW: I would never actually eat him
