Matt, looks like your protector is hard at work,I hope she gets paid well
Oh my gosh I hate it hen people dump their animals off. We were coming home one day and on our road was 2 little beagle pups. No one lives close to us so they had to have been dumped, we loaded them up and took them to the animal shelter, they were the sweetest little things, If I didn't have 4 dogs already.... Isn't the first time for us either EM, hope you find it a home.. Did you ever find where the game chickens came from?
Yes, he's hairless. Poor ugly little guy. Was freezing his butt off outside. I'm uploading a video on Facebook right now, but when it's through I'll send you a picture.
We just got a puppy she is a Pit mix we where told but I am not sure. She is only 4 weeks old right now.

Aww, she's a tiny baby then.
Bet she's cute.
Yeah, we just got Joe adopted out on Saturday, and already have another one! *sighs* I wish I wasn't the dog drop off spot. I guess I'm the crazy animal lady.

I really am known around here for my love of animals. I do wildlife rehab from time to time, so people know to bring me their squirrels, raccoons, skunks...etc. I'm guessing that's why I get them. All of my pets have been rescues like that. In fact, I can't think of one person in my family who doesn't have one of my rescued creatures.

People really do. I really think I am known here, I can't have this many dogs dropped off at my house by chance. This little guy makes the 10th one in the last three months. these vet bills and such are really racking up. I think we'll have this guy fixed at the humane society.
Wow sounds like everyone has had a busy day...pips, chicks, dogs etc..
I got some runner duck eggs this am, I will set them tonight before bed.
I have 10 eggs due to hatch Fri.-Sat. 3 comet x silkie (should be interesting) and 7 silkie/sizzles.
I spent the day scrubbing out cage and moving everyone around. Moved 4 of the oldest babies outside. Going to be 30 tonite so they have a heatlamp. Then I moved the next two batches into bigger cages and out of the toasty laundry room into the less toasty dining room. Did I mention I can't wait till spring?! Yet I'm still incubating. I sold 5 birds on Sunday, so I feel justified adding more eggs.
My family are a bunch of enablers anyway. I shut down the incubators after New Years and they all complained there was nothing to watch. Jeez.... I was tryinng to wait for the Easter Hatch. Have to keep everyone happy.
