Ok Miss Lydia....here are some pics. I took last Thrus. 2-17. Not sure why the date stamp didn't work on the camera, but I dated the picture folder. :

Here is an updated picture of the runners I hatched in Dec. Wondering...........do they think they are in a pond, on that blue tarp?

This is the best pic I could get of Poachy and the black spots on his comb. I was wondering if it could be that BigRed is beating him up and that is damage on his comb and not some kind of disease. I bought 2 trio's of buff brahmas that were not penned together, but are now left together to freerange and penned at night in a 10 x 16 run but I have not seen any fights other than them running up to each other bowed up and then continue to feed. Any help or advice is much appreciated as I am a newbie chicken wrangler and very wet behind the ears...Please and thank you.

On your uploads, copy & paste the link on the bottom, that is full size. The one on top is thumbail. Hope that makes sense.

tcw, you can click onto the pic is it makes it bigger, but I still can't see any blk spots.. why not get some bluekote to put on it, that way if they are doing some fighting it will help disguise the blood or wounds and help heal it fast. My 2 roos got into it last week and my one had blk specks on his comb and wattles where his daddy gave him what for.. but he's looking better today. just keep an eye on the places.

forgot to say thank you for those pics BHep, they do look like they are floating on that tarp...

but the pic of the day has to be those hens, makes me think of the days when you tried to see how many could fit into a phone booth [remember them JMM?] My hens have nice nest boxes too and it seems they will just stand in line waiting to use that special on. silly girls.

and ab, got chickens yet? love those Brahmas too tcw, I have 3.
