Thank you, I can't wait to see the baby, it is actually one of my project mille fleur orp chicks. Her and baby are going to be looking for a new home as she is just an extra hen that I do not need.

So far one of my black bantam orps is out, a couple more working hard making their way out. I get nervous with these English as they take their sweet time to even pip.

HT I have a question, do you feed your chicks medicated feed when first hatched? and how old are these pullets I'll be getting from you?
when you say English do you mean they come from British stock?

Quote:
No, I do not feed medicated feeds. Personally I feel it does not allow them to build immune systems naturally and know on wood I have never had any problems with any of my chicks.

The one pullet was born right around Jan. 5th and the other a few weeks after that, will have to track down that exact date.

Yes my English orps are from British stock, they are just not 100% but carry high English traits. I have to pullets and you can really tell the difference in English and American as they are nothing alike in conformation, both are extremely big girls just two different styles.
