My wife just called me and told me she things the giant black cochin we got a the show is completely blind. He is having a hard time finding his food and water. How could someone sell him without disclosing this? He has survived a year and half blind so we are going to keep him and take care of him but it just amazes me that the seller would disclose that his chicken is blind.

Would anyone buy a blind chicken? but to look on the bright side of this thank goodness ya'll bought him now he'll live the rest of his life well taken care of.. some people

We couldn't tell he was blind when we got him. He has eyes and looks normal except his left eye does have a white spot in it but I didn't notice it until after we got home.

It is definitely a learning experience.

But if the seller had said to you this rooster is blind more than likely you wouldn't have bought him so he kept quiet about it and made his money. or either he just didn't know. Do you think he could have been injured some how? what about the other eye?

Now I need some birds that lay blue eggs...... I have EE but they haven't started laying yet. My luck they will lay brown eggs. Should be soon, they are 5 months and their faces, & combs are getting nice and red.

Plus my neighbors are buying me out of eggs....
