There is also an Agri-Supply in Greenville unless they've closed recently. If you are looking anything chicken related especially hardware cloth, you might want to call before making the drive. Last year they couldn't keep anything in stock and when they did recieve anything in it was gone in a matter of a few hours.

While I'm here I may as well shout out to the rest of my fellow North Carolinians. Hope you are all doing well!

Agri-Supply's website is actually pretty good - you can check stock at the different stores on it! That's the cheapest place I've found around here, macadam!

Hey, ElizabethH - Glad you made it over to the NC thread!

Oh, Bhep - I hope that little Blind Bob continues to do ok! Bless his little heart! What a cutie pie though!

Love the coop, steadfast! What a great idea!!!

ElizabethH, I am NE of Ashevill in Burnsville, I hadn't heard about a swap out by the airport, the only one I know of is out around Clye or Waynesville, but I've never been to one, try looking in the Iwanna they use to advertise in it. and Welcome.

Yes the are rare, they only came US from Sweden last year. You can look at Greenfirefarms website and see. There are pics of adults on the website, they are really pretty chickens. Rufus is the most gentle dog ever, he is just 17 months old. He loves the chickens.

Duemig, they are lovely!!!

Duemig are you going to be breeding and selling your Swedish Flowers one day?
I am also a big Brahma fan, I have 6 lovely ladies, The colors on their Brahmas are so georgeous.

I am hoping to breed and sell the chicks and/or eggs in the future. The chicks are only 5 weeks old now. I will keep you posted on the outcome of them. I know one is definately a roo, the rest I have no idea. I will have to take individual pics and post them so this way everyone can give me an opinion on what they think they are.
