I use Twin Oaks Feed Supply in Willow Spring off of Kennebec Rd. I don't know Agri-supply's prices as I haven't even looked there.

This is also where I'm still getting my feed since you told me about them. Nice folks!

Great information, Thanks TaLani, I would like to go to look around, but it's kinda far from here, would be nice if there was one closer.

There is a Poster that comes here pretty regular, she bought a hen from some guy over in Haywood co. it was very sick and didn't start to show symptoms until she got it home. Thank goodness it hadn't been around the rest of her flock. She had the hen put down. very sad that there are people out there that will do that to make a buck. I would much rather buy from someone I know if at all possible.

Yes, I'd much rather buy from someone I know or hatch eggs. I mainly hatch eggs these days. Some day I want to go visit Hen Thymes, her birds are soooooo pretty!

They are always the best! Plus they are always way sweet to my daughter and they let her sit and play with the chicks! HAHAHAHAHA

DW - Allison - says I need to thin out my flock a little. If anyone is interested I have one Black and 2 White Silkie Roos that need good homes, along with a trio of Buff Orpington Roo's too. All are great birds, I am due to be NPIP tested in the next couple of weeks too. I also have 2 black Silkie chicks - about 5 weeks old that need homes. One is a little small though, but sweet all the same. If anyone is interested pm me and I can tell you more about them and where they came from.....

I may be able to take a buff orp roo (if none of my birds mature out to be roos). My babes are only 3 weeks though, and I don't quite have the coop done yet. However, if one of them are still available in about 3 to 5 weeks, my girls should be ready to meet him shortly after I move them to the coop.

Morning all
