These are my first and only chicks so I'm not NPIP, but the seller of the eggs was. I'd be happy to trade him for one of your standard Cochins!!!

He sure is a sweetie.

Any of you local Raleigh area folks going on the Tour D'Coop tomorrow??? I'm excited about it! I've been trying to go for a few years now and have never made it. I'm hoping seeing some nice coops will motivate the DH to help get my coop finished and looking good!!!!

I built a new coop for my pigeons this afternoon...used all recycled stuff aka...old crap laying around the farm. It actually came out pretty good. They are happy to get out of the tiny cage.

I have chicks hatching ... hope for a good hatch. Some are from my birds, some from the auction. Auction eggs are supposed to be BBRs and Welsumers.... we shall see.

Taking the kids to the park for a movie night, community sponser it and it free, plus the kids get free popcorn & icey.
