Bhep, we have family that lives over that way, so I may be able to figure something out. No eggs yet today...maybe this afternoon.

Hey everyone! Can someone please turn on the air conditioner....

Been busy trying to make sure everything is in order for the Chickenstock. We have posted fliers in several TSC & Southern States as well as our local feed store. I have some donations for the raffles and still working on getting a few more. Now just need to put together my own list of what we are bringing to sell.

I do hope everyone will join us that day. Going to set up a time for a BYC picture too.

I have a small batch of serama's due to hatch tomorrow (yes, in the little Brinsea) and will reset a few eggs when this group comes out. We have lost a couple of hens to the heat so I am setting some eggs that I got just before hoping they fertile and hatch.

All the juvi's are growing out nicely, need to get some updated pictures to share with everyone, will try and take some this afternoon. Some of my younger pullets have finally started to lay and others are now over 8 months and still nothing!

We have rehomed most of what needed to go but still have a few left available, both pullets and cockerels. If anyone is interested please pm or email me. I do have three small mixed bantam pullets still looking for a home, they are just starting to lay.

We have also been busy in the barn making new runs for everyone, now only have a small group of three outside, all others are in the barn with fans to help get them thru this heat. Will try and get some pics of them as well, DH is such a carpenter for being an electrician.

Laying update: nothing new to report.

I will add an even sadder thing...

my blender died today. RIP blender...you made such wonderful smoothies and great baby food...too bad you didn't last me more than 2 years, or else I would have abused you much longer!!

Well, all this not laying bit was making me depressed, so I started making baby food...just for the blender to leak everything out the bottom. I don't think it's my month!!

It's a shame isn't it, no wonder there are so many out of work in our country. W've been sold out! [sorry for the rant but I feel better]

Where is faison? I might be willing to drive for some GL polish hens...I keep ending up with roos...

Actually I am interested.. Where are you located... I've been very reluctant at the whole order chickens online thing, would prefer to see what I'm getting.
