We just booted our goats out of the barn!

With the additional runs we brought those from the big 25x30 yard in and put the goats out. We have some picky critters here as DH had to always to in and mow the lot so putting the goats in we figured they would take care of that.... yeah right!!

They want their hay and grain and could care less about all the grass growing taller and taller by the day. Now instead of flying chicken poo when he mows he will have to dodge goat pellets.

so are ya going to build a barn for your horses and goats brfore winter?

I am in Surry county just North of Winston Salem.

I will be going through my pens and will have some LF Blue, Black and maybe a splash cochin for sale.

They are 4-5 months old. Not sure of price yet but thought I would put it our there before going to Craigslist.

Please PM me if interested, I have to work the next two weekends

The big broodmares are out in the pasture and have a run in shed, the old stallion will have a run hopefully by winter but all get waterproof heavy winter blankets on.

The goats have a shelter as well, we took the coop that was in the lot close off the opening to the next boxes and now they have a big "house" that is enclosed on 3-1/2 sides. It is approx. 10x3or4, plenty for 3 goats to run in and out of.

woooo hooooo! i might have actually found a cooly perfect roomate and place. as they are fine with the birds i have and love chickens and were both thinking of getting some. so maybe my bad situation was ment to be the sign and kick in the pants to try to move out their again, to asheville (as my downstairs is moist, and full of black mold), and suddenly they are wanting me to get rid of all my animals had for years here, suspiciously, after i said they should fix my place up, and do it correctly, unlike bleaching and white wash they usually do, they now want me to conform to all these new rules immediately or more.
