A good morning to you all, hope everyone survived the rains and wind last night.... It seemed to miss us completely just some rain, which is good news.

So, my egg laying flock have all decided to stop laying this week..... I have checked the birds over, no lice fleas etc, all seem perky and bright but no eggs!! The Barred rocks are now 18 months old almost, with the Buff's coming up to 10 months..... Maybe they have all decided to molt at the same time, they are looking slightly ruffled.....

I was planning chicken for dinner... I guess I'll have to buy a nice steak

I just checked the USPS site, my girls left Talahasse!

(hopefully I won't have to find a place to sleep tonight... Do hotel accept chickens?)

So I opt NOT to go to the outlet mall yesterday because we were under a tornado warning and severe thunderstorm warning ALL day....not one drop of rain came our way!

I planned to go today and DH tells me it's raining over at his work...so we'll see. All this because a relative wants a stupid glass thingie from Carolina Pottery!! I should have known it was going to be one of THOSE days when I browned -darkly (I refuse to say burnt) the scrambled eggs I was making DD today!!
