Beth - How wonderful to have a new addition!! I will definitely be praying for the young man to get acquainted and adjusted relatively quickly. I think it takes such a strong person to deal WITH the foster care system!! Let us know if you need anything!!
I am having one of THOSE days
DD is sick and clingy (I intentionally left out the whining
) I think part of it is due to the constant temperature changes but she is also teething - still working on getting her 2 year molars (did I mention she is not even CLOSE to 2 years old yet??) She already has a set of molars, so I can only assume these are what is causing her to drool like Niagara Falls!!
I managed to finish the top of the baby quilt for my pregnant SIL (yay) just in time to work on the binding this weekend so it can be FINISHED before the inlaws get here.
So...you may laugh at me, but any suggestions for a first timer?? This will be my first Thanksgiving with family where I am actually cooking!!
I am already overwhelmed, especially since my father in law eats NOTHING when he visits (no joke, he only eats my mother in laws cooking). I ordered a turkey and I am making the rolls that are my G.Great Grandmothers recipe, so that's my plan. I have NO idea how long to thaw a turkey, or how to cook a turkey or even if I have a pan big enough to cook the turkey!!
Well...it's cold out there today!! Try to stay warm everyone!! I'm headed to the kitchen to do some baking/cooking just to warm the house up!!
Looks like there will be a fire in the fireplace tonight!!
