well map quest was map quest again, thank god I had mom mom (my verison of tom tom) with me. Got my early christmas and some site seeing done lol.

Not a Lakenvelder to been seen, 1 BCM rooster & 2 BCM hens in the show. Nothing for sale. Drooled over the call ducks, got the ladies card and will contact her in the spring.
I have pics and as soon as the kids get settled with their movie, I will try to get them on.

DS won a 10 piece tool set, complete with box cutter.

( now belongs to Nanny) and a UGLY

shelf, he loves and want to show case one of his favorite model cars. The thought of hanging that thing in the room. Looks like something from a funeral home.

FS won a pair of snow man mugs and a fake bird house with Christmas decorations. He plans to give them to his mom for X-mas. AWWwwwwwwww..

Youngest DD sobbed for 1/2 hr, because she didn't win anything. REALLY !!!!

Came home long enough to get the dogs out for a potty break , feed & water everyone and off to a parade in town, rode in the float with our Church friends & Pastor.

They had to be the SWEETEST little thing, you just want to squeeze them.

Hey Beth, was very nice meeting you today. Wish we would have more time to just chicken talk.

We did do well today, worth the 3-1/2 hour drive. We have been up since 3:30 this morning and still going.

Here are just a few from today, please excuse the pics, I wasn't very good today and the lighting wasn't the greatest.

DD's silkie, shown in JR, she took BV over an older hen!!

This was DD and the pullets first show so a great result.

My LF orps, took Best of Breed with the blue pullet and Reserve of Breed with the black cockerel then took Reserve English with the Blue Pullet!!!

Came home with a very nice plaque.

The bantam orps all placed against themselves as they were the only 10 there. I did however find out where everyone stands and my older buff hen still has it going on and took Best of Breed and a young black cockerel took Reserve of Breed. Didn't get any pics of them there but will get some pics of them tomorrow.

Also took a few serama's, a boy who got in a fight yesterday morning and was just a mess ended up taking first out of 4 cockerels!!

All in all it was a very good day and we have a nice time chatting with everyone, now if we could just get to sleep in tomorrow.

You know what... I got a check in the mail today for $30 for the Ag Dept?! I was like WHAT?! Just realized it was the prize pay out for the jams/canned goods at the fair. Totally forgot and was so happy with the ribbons I forgot there was $$$ for it too!

Stocking stuffers for me this year!
