The outside coops had frozen water, just a inch thick layer. Inside the barn is toasty. Must be all the body heat.

Now the ducks........... they are upset at me. The hose is frozen so their tub is dry. Shame on me they were following me around nipping at me knees and carrying on. Then some were pecking at the tub and running around it to peck at the other end. The tub is emptied at night and turn upside down. Jeezzzzzz think they are spoiled or what ! !

I usually start to hear my roos around 3:30 am but even now that everyone is out, it is stone silent out there, poor babies, their crow is frozen. Sounds like your going to have to get those ducks a heater to go in the tub BHep. lol. Mine have to wash as best they can in their buckets till it warms up a hair.

I would like to get my chickens quialified for showing and need to have them NPIP.
Could someone let me know how to contact someone?
I found this email address [email protected]
Does anyone have another contact I might try?
Can I take my chickens to a show and have it done there?
Any advice or help will be appreciated. Thanks.

You don't have to be NPIP in order to show. NC shows have state testers at every show and will test any untested birds Typhoid before they can enter. They will give you paperwork letting you know that those particular birds have been tested and clean by the state.
