Busy day..... Frozen chicken chores........Church, then auction. I didn't bring anything to sell, thought it would be too cold. Pffff what a joke.... over 300 boxes and everything went big $. I will be loaded up next weekend.

Came home with 2 tiny Call duck drakes. A rooster.....don't ask.!!

and some RIR hatching eggs, to hatch and resell.

So what was at the WCA today?

chickens...ducks....rabbits...couple goats...a mini... a calf....birds (canaries, parakeets, lovebirds cockateil ) cages etc........ no phaesants, 1 turkey.

I think Beth still has them, but does anyone else have Silver laced polish? My daughter wants some, and since I'm in the hatching spirits would love to get some eggs.

Yes I do.... only have a trio. I have 3 WCB hens in there too and I hatch pure blacks from them. The WCBs will be going to the auction next week.

I have a pair, but she's not laying predictably yet. I am getting some more hens soon. I hope to have eggs and chicks by the Spring ChickenStock

RP.. don't know the sex. Mini was rearing and went for the auction workers.
Not good on the latest eggs ........ I see nothing developing.

Still smiling about those eggs... I can't believe how happy I am over 2 tiny pullet eggs.

My hair is now a purplish red... ok, I think I can live with this for awhile. Hooray for cheap drug store hair dye!!!!

Beth, did I say next Sunday or the Sunday after I was going to meet everyone at the chicken auction? My brain went numb, checked the calender and forgot to write it down! UGH!
