North Carolina

Well, I know I've been juggling chicks (almost literally!) and running with the kids, all while wishing I dared take a nap. Grrr daylights savings. I'm sure we'll soon be hearing of all the wonders at WCA and drooling over the fabulous pics! Can't wait!

I'm lurking today. I didn't go to the auction, I ended up working horses in Holly Springs and now I'm cramming school work because my instructors are douche bags!!

On a different note I'm now addicted to the swap forum and will soon be named swap queen. LOL Anyone have tips for making a good swap page?

I have done a whole bunch of nothing and then some.

Today we got some of the garden planted. We have a 30x30 garden with two 4x8 boxes toward the front. The garden is now completely tilled and ready to plant. Today in the boxes we managed to put in onions, garlic, dill, spinach and lettuce. This week will be planting cabbage, sugar snaps, collards and who knows what else.

Earlier this week I got more raspberries in, cleaned it and the blackberry bed and trimmed and tied the grapes. Still have to trim apple & peach trees as they are already blooming. Oh and the rhubarb is already growing!!

Yesterday was a awesome day for me, sold a group of birds in the morning, sold the cabinet bator in the afternoon and had someone else come buy a pair of seramas before the day was over.

Sounds like you had a great and productive day!!!!

I got my daughter's flower bed tilled and weeded and started this weekend. Got the yard cleaned up from all the recent winds knocking pine cones and branches everywhere. Played outside with my daughter, sold some birds.

NOW I need to borrow someone's tiller to till the big garden spot and get these seedlings in the ground ASAP I have 2 big trays full of seedlings started.

Hi guys,

Just wondering where you all buy your bedding? pine shavings and straw. Also where do you buy your feed. I know about Tractor Supply and Family Farm. But is there anywhere else?

For Fayetteville there is Southern Gin just around the corner from Family Farm. We use Champion Milling in Dunn on Edgerton St. and then there is Double LL tack and Feed in Coats who are even open on sundays. They are on Hwy 55.
