I have no idea what color yet, haven't open the bator this morning, just happy it's here. Also have three white bantam orps, four seramas and a silkie. Very cute group.![]()

Was at the vet's this morning taking the new kitten in to be seen, check out and given shots. No shots as she has a URI and a fever (boo) but we were FeLV & FIV negative, fleas/mites negative and only positive for round worms. Got some meds for her and her 1.1 pound body and they want to see her again in 2 weeks for shots. LOL, I told them I may or may not be able to make my appointment. Funny thing is...3 of the ladies working in the office were pregnant too!! Glad they understood!!
On a HORRIBLE chicken note...I was loading up to leave this morning and saw the end result of an attempted hawk attack!!

On a GREAT chicken note...Olivia is still sitting in her nesting box!! Today is day 3 of her sitting on 4 eggs that I know of...it could even have been more, so we'll find out if she sticks with it...when the biddies arrive. Will I need to separate her from the rest of the flock if she does manage to hatch, or will they be okay the way they are? I don't even want to think about the hawk incident and the babies...I know there's a possibility, but I refuse to think about that right now...because we have no babies and if/when we get babies, I may choose to remain in denial, I don't know.
