Well maybe it's kinda like when we first get married, it takes awhile for the fellows to grow on us.I understand breeding is down in the winter but they haven't liked him in months!!! I'm tired of dragging th back into the coop from all the other places they would rather sleep than be penned with him. I got the message loud and clear...NEW ROOSTER WANTED. lol

Sorry to here your having relationship troubles in your hen house. I had a hen go broody just to keep away from a roo for a wile a few years back. When she was done lay-in... she sat on everyone else eggs. She eventually took him back, but for a while there she stayed in that house. She even stayed in it when the legs were chain sawed out from under her to put it on a trailer to move it. That hen was up to some serious business.Help!! I desperately need a Large Fowl Splash Rooster. I have some in the brooder but I need one in the next few weeks. My girls have decided that my stunning Splash Orp rooster is no longer worthy. He has been with them for almost a year and now they are done. UGH picky witches.

Some times, well most times it don't take much to amuse boysMy boys still get a kick out of laying chicks on their backs and making them fall asleep. They are so siloly.
New Ameraunana girls taking a nap, as if to be... (No birds were harmed in the making of these Pictures.)
I think it is funny when the chicks catch on and do like toddlers, and decide that they don't want a nap!
Same bird.
Silly Silly boys!
