Congratulations to you cmom(Alieda) for a great swap!! What a wonderful place for it. You worked your tail off and it showed. This was the largest swap that I can remember! Great to see all of my familiar peeps and met a bunch of new ones!! Thanks to Nifty-Chicken for the use of the banner even though we forgot to take a group photo in front of it!! I want to thank all of the peeps that got some new silkies and other birds. Keep me posted on them. Send me a picture of yourselves with them and I'll put it on my website! Thanks 3chickens for my new black copper maran chicks..my husband was actually happy I got them!! He says hello to all but was chickened out from last weekend!!! Thanks to everyone who got some new silkies and other birds and her are some of the pic that I took////and yes.......I got a picture of the goats in the back of Annika's Kia!!! Well, I knew it would happen. Chester was exercising his vocal chords this morning (bright and early) and pretty much non stop. We were laughing at him. DH got up to take the dog out and low and behold, the next door neighbor egged his truck and threw quite a few eggs in our yard.

I spoke with my uncle and he said he would be happy to take sweet Chester but he lives 2 hours away. I'm afraid the neighbor may come and do something worse next

that sucks so sorry for you to have neighbors like that....some people just do no like to get up to that​

Hey guys!!!
Well my birds got settled in yesterday and I decided to take some pictures.

My Splash Silkie pair from Vickie (SunshineSilkies) I decided to let them out to get some grass and just have fun lol while I took pics of them

My Seramas from Vickie (SunshineSilkies) There is 5 and they are beautiful!

My Asils (I dont remember the guys name that I bought them from) I got two pairs.

Heres the little white button quail I got yesterday from FloridaMama. She got picked on by my Buttons last night so I put her with my serama and two silkie X chicks and the two little Sizzles I got yesterday from her too

They love the button and the 2 little sizzles, the serama puts its wing over them and keeps them warm

And heres what I woke up to this morning. I have had 5 hatch and 2 are pipping and zipping and I have 11 eggs left =]. They are little button quail. Yes that is a mini gatorade cap

Anyone wanna buy them, let me know =]

I was going to get pictures today sometime before now, but our Cat Miss Cleo took a very bad turn last night/early this morning and degraded from there....We put Cleo down at 3pm today, so I am still not over that....


It's almost time to feed the critters, so I will get pics then. We traded our Rouen for 5 little ducklings from FloridaMama and we bought a Brama/Orpington Hen and a White Orpington Hen from the guy who had the crates on the back of his van...

We had a great time!!! We were all some what squished for the ride in hubby's truck but we all made it. I am glad ya'll like the cake, and like promised my daughter made the first cut so there is no bad curse going to fall on to anybody. lol
Cmom loved your place if you host more I will make sure we have the money to make the trip we will just leave a little earlier to make it there a little sooner.
I just had to bring home a couple of Silkies peeps, and Blue and green egg layers peeps. Did some swaping. Everybody is settled in fine. Will have to bring more money next time saw some birds( as well as hubby saw some) that would love to get but didn't have enough cash on me.
I think If Silly is able to go to the Feb. Swap I might ride with her but hubby would be left out. so maybe find a sitter for the kids and we ride with her..... lol

^ Our ducklings from FloridaMama.....the little dark one almost died yesterday afternoon when we got him/ her home (no peeping and sounded like it couldn't breathe)....I had to let him/her clean out his/her nostrils, and teach him/her to eat/drink. It's doing great! Peeping, waddling around and doing all the normal ducky things
