Chirping
I have 3 roosters that I would be willing to swap if anyone near here is looking. Would swap for Silkie, Cochin, or Brahma hen/pullet, or another hen that has proven to be pretty broody regardless of breed.
All hatched in January of this year, none are aggressive going after people, but are definitely not hand tame. Free ranged all day, cooped at night.
I've already butchered most of my cockerels for the year, but these 3 I feel like would be better used than butchered if anyone needs them. Have more chicks in the incubator now, so need to downsize before they come one way or the other.
1 White Maran
1 Black Australorp
1 Barred Rock
The Australorp is the heaviest and most "chill" of the bunch.
The BR and Maran are more alert guardian type roos, and the Maran has beautiful long feathering.
