Hey Georgia People! I will be in Dawsonville visiting family for Thanksgiving! Is there going to be a nearby swap going on during that week? Maybe I can go Black Friday Chicken Shopping!! LOL!!

This was just too much FUN! I would like to thank everyone who brought stuff for the pot luck. We really enjoyed it all!
Thanks again to Sacketts Feed Store, TC Country, Mylilzoo and Countrypantry for the raffle items. (let me know if I missed anyone) It made a huge difference with your donations!
I would also like to thank a few people who's help I wouldn't have been able do with out.
Katy and Steve (Mylilzoo) Thank you for running the welcome booth, cooking, crowd control and just being great friends!

My in-laws, Ray and Jean, who helped with set up, watched my kids and, Ray who ran the welcome tent.
Lastly, my wonderful husband who cares not about a chicken, but loves me enough to allow 100 chicken crazy people out to our house for a full day of FUN!

I really enjoyed meeting everyone and putting face with names. It's so rare to get that many people together and have everyone all get along. What a great group we have!!! A number of people mentioned doing this again in the spring and we are IN!

Had a great time yesterday. Didn't make it in time for the food but saw lots of birds that I would of but couldn't of taken home. The trampoline and Kelly's children were a hit for the kids and my wife spent some time with Kelly's in-laws. Kelly has a georgeous little peaCOCK that was fun to see, and she has a beautiful place. Thanks so much for doing this, and I hope that someone can host another in the spring. Would Clarkesville be too much out of the way for most of you? Thanks again, Kelly. Liked the hat. Mitch

Mitch (Pavo) this is for you! My buttons have really perked up! They are in the kitchen chirping and playing in their cage. I really enjoyed meeting you and your family. My girls haven't stopped talking about all their new friends. We may just have to come visit and get that peahen.
