My husband is going to kill me... I got some more D'Uccles and some D'Anvers from ebay... We're going to need to get some banty coops and runs going. Got any ideas I can use for little coops for the bantys?  I'm *hoping* to only have a handfull of each breed lol.

If your shipped eggs do like mine it will be only a couple. You could do the tractor thing..

Oh and THANK YOU LADIES for changing the time of the meet to a time that is better for me to attend! I am soooo looking forward to it..

I just couldn't resist. I was out buying the last of the stuff I needed for setting up the new, bigger brooder before my Cackle Surprise chicks show up this week and I came home with a dozen bantams. Not super happy with their condition, as they almost all had some level of pasty butt and one didn't make it more than a few hours because of it. But the rest are clean and looking good under the heat plates.

Give them a bit of yolk water...

Here are 2 of mine that hatched...

The white/grey chick is a BCM/Isbar mix, it came from the dark egg in corner, the GLW is sitting near the empty shell.

Sorry you lost one. Hooray that you have more though!
