You need to move out to the country!! Then you can have LOTS of chickens like me!
That's the plan! In the next couple years or so!
Checked one of the eggs today and it was fertile!!!! We were pretty excited! Now if only one of my chickens would go broody! My dad has two that just did in the last week! And im jealous lol.
I put 5 little eggs in incubator about 3 weeks ago, one blue egg an EE/leghorn frizzle and possibly a blue isbar mix is zipping...looks like a white chick.
we have noisy starlings that have a nest on the side of the house where my incubator is. as soon as the mom flys to the nest the starling chicks all make noise. I can see her flex in her egg when this happens.

Question! What do you guys do with a mean bantam roo you don't want? I know if I had a standard roo he could be dinner, but not sure if a bantie is the same?

Some people can bantys.. use in soups and stews
No, but I hopefully have one hatching...soon...
