My eggs are set to start day 21 tomorrow, but I normally have a few early, so we'll see when I get home tonight.

I spoke to soon. I hear chirping coming from my lockdown incubator. Lol.

Oh, and happy news from yesterday: my quail started laying again. And I got my first red dilkie egg. 7 months old.

@pips&peeps There was veining in all 15 of the eggs!!! I sure hope I get some cute little fluffy butts!!! Wooo Wooo!!!

I set 8 eggs from my white pen and all of them developed I have four chicks so far and 3 pips. I think one of the eggs was set a day later, so I will give it a bit more time.

I cleaned and put up some netting in two pens yesterday, only four more to go.....

I need to go out and check to make sure it held.

Awesome!!! The whites are growing on me the more I see of them, I imagine I'll soon (10 years) have all the colors somewhere. Haha! I can't wait to share pics! My two Splashes are coming along nicely too. ^_^

Yay! How are your self blues doing? I haven't candled yet. I wait until day 7, but I may have peeked at 2, and they both had veining. (yay!)

I am hatching out some this roo fertilized. He is frizzle/maran

2 eggs pipped due the 8th, 2 more due the 10th, these are legbar/isbar, the others are due the 10th, LO and a frizzle olive egg.

My orpingtons I ordered from Papa's Poultry arrived last night

I ordered a variety box so there are a number of different ones. I know what a few of them are but not all of them. Exciting! I also set my eggs last night. I'll do a total count tonight. I set a few in my LG in case I lose any in my new incubator I'll replace them with the ones in the LG.
