I thought you were grounded? Or are those for Hawk12?

And if you are grounded, your husband must not be keeping an eye on your toys. Mine is spying on my incubators daily. I think that he might be counting the eggs. I was almost able to 'sneak' 3 Ameraucanas from Chelsea into the brooder yesterday but he noticed that they were white and a little bigger than the two silvers already in the brooder. lol

@pips&peeps or anyone else for that matter...

Have any Ameraucana cockerels that need to be gotten rid of? My mixed Araucana rooster has decided he wants to attack everyone that comes around the coop, including beating up and bloodying good one of my favorite older roos. He has decided he wants to become part of the freezer camp flock. Willing to pay for a cockerel!

I was looking for an ameraucana too. I found a lady on craigslist with chicks, but no cockerels at this time. But she did still have chicks :)

@Hawk12. @Saris

Are we still thinking about caponizing on the 15th? If so then the cockerals in question need to be with out food for two days and water for 24 hours ahead of time. I also have another interested person to watch/participate who will have a bird or two to try. Where are we going to do this? Anyone else interested is welcome as far as I am concered.

The brown ones are for hawk, the bluish whitish ones are more Choc Ams for me since my 2nd Biele hath was a bust.

I have a spare male chick, but I think it might still be considered an EE, since it's part of a project color still, he would be black split to chocolate for his coloring.

I still plan on it, but I may no longer have a roo to use, I sold two Biele boys and the tree that are left are starting to look nice so I may let them grow to see if any are worth breeding before I eat them. ^_^ I'll bring my tool kit though. I hope everyone studies up and watches some youtube videos and checks out the caponizing threads here.

And then we have my pride and joy "Priscilla" she is turning out beautiful!! I hope I can get more eggs shipped and hatched. She is only one of 29 eggs sent to me that has made it. I would love to have a rooster for her.

Thank you and see you Tue.

Will set banty cochin tricolor eggs tomorrow

Anyone else have a gqf cabinet incubator? Bought a 2nd used one and having problems with temperature.

I have a GQF buy just got it new in Jan. So no problems yet. When did your quail start laying? We have some that are 6 weeks and had one egg two days ago and nothing since.
