(off chick sub) We like to hunt turkey, grouse, deer and elk.Elk is my favorite to hunt. I thought about moose, but they have had a hard time lately with wolves and ticks. I might try for a bear again in the fall.
As for fishing.... Westport was fun. The weather got bad, so we came back in. I also dug for clams for the first time and learned to shuck oysters. Ate lots of crab.

Ahhh okay. Yeah, in my opinion Maine is even prettier than here :p there are parts here that are pretty though. I've never been out west. I've only been to all of the New England states (so Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont) although Connecticut I've only driven through to get to New York. Would like to actually visit. So been to all those and then I've been to New York and Pennsylvania but mostly just driven through NY to get to Erie as we have family in PA. And been to Florida. I've technically been to New Jersey and Georgia but only a layover so I dont count it. But anyways, we live here so it's easy/common to go to the other states and we have family the other 2 so that's necessity too. And Florida was just fun but I haven't been there or anywhere really in a few years. I'd like to see other parts of the country.

Anyway, the seafood here is delicious. Though I personally hate seafood ironically enough LOL but you gotta try some lobster :)
Oh, how sad that you hate seafood... it is so delicious.
I would love to travel somemore before i get too old to travel. i love driving and seeing the countryside. My dh & i use to travel alot, but we have settled in this home, we bought 2yrs ago and we are doing a ton of renovations and he is building lots of out buildings for us/animals.
were you born & raised in MA? I was born & raised in Southern Calif. we moved to Idaho 8yrs ago & love it here. If you like rural living and snow, this is the place for you. you might miss the ocean, like i do, but you can get there in about 5 hrs.

thanks for sharing your beautiful pics. i have only shot a deer, and i cried and thanked her for her life. it is funny how some animals are more emotional to kill, huh? well, thanks again

@Saris Hi, i appologize for not calling you last night. I got home at 4:30 and then went directly out to my coops and washed my rooster and dusted him and the entire (older) flock, 27 chickens, then did my other chores. Can we talk today? if so, what time is good for you? thank you

Here's photos of the 2 Serama chicks that hatched this weekend.
