Hi Tori, yes, got the email, sorry I didn't respond. I think I was building up the nerve to broach the subject to the boyfriend and then I kinda of shanghaied him with a flock I found in Big Lake. I think some of them are related to your stock, but I'm not sure which ones...the 3 month olds may have been sired by a rooster from you? I saw your post on either AKlist or CL the other day looking for a home for some of your young roos. Wish I could trade you one. I'm not sure what to think of my Goliath (+/- 3 mos). Do they all go through that gawky stage?

Another chicken lover from AK

We have a modpogde of birds right now. Our flock started by a wonderful gift from a good friend 2 Old English Game Hen & Roo, an EE Roo & Dark Cornish Roo. Then adopted a flock from our DD freind who could keep them any longer. so total now is 10. 7 hens and 3 roos

Hello, from alaska. we just moved here from alabama and want to get started raising poultry again. any advice would be helpful. also what areas can you have chickens?
