(Actually she doesn't mind, she knew her guys probably wouldn't place well) Nope, her girl is not in condition she didn't place well. None on Champion Row this year, she had two last year. They have been molting....

Hi there, the "game" is a Modern Game Birchen hen. I have a trio of them and keep them inside in the winter, as they are not winter hardy. I call them my little velosoraptors like in Jurassic Park! I love them and they are very friendly!

OEG Old England Game was the leggy black one....and the buff was a Non Bearded Buff Polish ROOSTER. He was a beauty!

H'mmm... I thought the beard would be below the beak. (I'm new though, and realize I have a lot to learn!) I like the fluffed up light area below his chin, which I thought was a beard. I really like the headdress effect!

Lol! I totally get the velosoraptor reference! I remember commenting to my partner how they look like little dinosaurs! They look like they'd be great at catching bugs in the garden. Not sure if I could convince "certain" people to keep chickens in the house though.

I only just got a concession for keeping them in the yard!
