Northern CA COOP TOUR/ Social Event?

I love looking at all the coops on BYC and it got me to thinnking that it might be fun to do a coop tour in our area. Would anyone be interested?

I don't know if anything like this has been done before, so if anyone has experience with it, I'd love the ideas.

I was thinking we could have submissions and put them on a map/program of sorts and then people can visit the ones they want to.

I think it would be fun to actually meet you guys in Northern CA. Probably March would be a good time frame? Any opinions?

I live in Oakland and would be interested in visiting other coops! I think you can send messages through BYC so you can contact me that way. I'll also subscribe to this topic and see if you get any other takers. Great idea!

I'm always up for meeting local peeps! We actually have a good number of members in the Bay Area.

While I won't have peeps over to our ugly coop until the new one is built (maybe later this Summer) I'm happy to join in on the tour of other coops

I may even be able to bring some BYC Bumper stickers to give out (just don't tell the non-locals).

I wanted to get some of those an ride around in the fire truck with them on but my cheif did not think it would be as funny as I did.
